Petrol price in Pakistan reduced by Rs 15.39: Check new rates for May 2024

The federal government of Pakistan on Wednesday reduced the petrol price by Rs 15.39 for May 2024 to Rs 273.1.

On the recommendation of OGRA (Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority), the prices of petrol and diesel have been reduced.

In a notification, the finance ministry said the petrol price has come down by Rs 15.39 to Rs 273.10 per litre. While the price of diesel decreased by Rs 7.88 to Rs 274.08 per litre.

The drop in fuel prices comes in the backdrop of fluctuating international market prices.

The government of Pakistan changes petroleum prices every fortnight as the government uses a formula to adjust prices based on international oil prices, exchange rates and some other factors.
