Petrol price cut in Pakistan for May 2024; Check latest prices

Good news for Pakistani people. For the month of May 2024, the price of petrol and diesel has been reduced by Rs 13.87 per liter to provide relief to the inflation-affected people. The new price of petrol in Pakistan has been set at Rs 288.49 and diesel at Rs 281.96.

The Ministry of Finance has announced a reduction in fuel prices for May 2024. Petrol price has been reduced by Rs 5.45 per liter and diesel price by Rs 8.42 per liter for the next fortnight.

Petrol and diesel prices were revised amid differences in international prices of petroleum products and minor changes in exchange rates. This is the first time in a month that the government is reducing the prices of petroleum one after the other.

In the review of the last fortnight, the PML-N government increased the price of petrol by Rs 8 per liter for the next fortnight.
