Petrol and diesel prices increased from January 1, 2025

The government, while extending its first New Year greetings to the public, increased the prices of petroleum products.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the prices of petroleum products have been increased by Rs 2.96 per liter for the next 15 days.

The government has increased the price of petrol by 56 paise per liter and the price of high-speed diesel by Rs 2.96 per liter for the next 15 days.

After the increase, the price of petrol has increased from Rs 252.10 to Rs 252.66 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel has increased from Rs 255.38 to Rs 258.34 per liter.

The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification for the implementation of prices, which will be applicable from 12 midnight for the next 15 days.
